Parental Opt-Out Form
High School Spring sports begins after school at 4:30pm 3/11/2025. Parent handbook meeting will be at 6:30pm in the commons this evening after practice is done. This is for any parent that has not received an athletic handbook. If this is a student's first sport of the year, they will also need a sports physical before practice can begin for them.
Family Memoir Night at HLP High School

Meaningful keepsakes
Family stories
We will provide the writing prompts, notebooks, and writing utensils to help you capture and preserve your family's unique history and traditions.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect across generations, share important stories, and create lasting family memories together. Everyone is welcome!

Spring Sports practice will begin on Tuesday May 11, 2025, at 4:30pm. A parent spring meeting will also be held Tuesday May 11, 2025, at 6:30pm in the HS commons.
Elementary Drill team pictures will be Wednesday March 12, 2025, at 5:30pm
Location: Commons area at the High School.
We ask all parents bring their student(s). 1st-3rd grades will wear black pants with the white T-Bird shirt and high ponytail. 4th-6th grades will wear ribbon skirts with black shirt and jean jacket.
Ms. DuBray will have the picture packet forms if they would like them before the pictures.

Come join us for Family Engagement: Family Memoirs, where we will work on creating meaningful memory books for our families. This is a great opportunity to reflect on special moments, share stories, and preserve your family’s history in a personal way.
✨ What to Bring:
✔️ Photos of memorable moments
✔️ Letters or keepsakes that hold special meaning
✔️ Family recipes to include in your memory book
✔️ Quotes or traditions that are important to your family
We will provide notebooks, writing utensils, and prompts to help guide your storytelling. Be prepared to spend quality time with your family discussing and writing down cherished memories.

Thunderbird Weekly Schedule March 3, 2025
Hays Lodgepole 7-12 Honor Roll trip will be Tuesday March 4, 2025. Departing at 8:15am to sleeping Buffalo, then lunch at Stretch's after swimming then return back to Hays by 3:30pm. Permission slips were sent home, please returned signed for your student to go on trip. Any questions please call the high school at 406-673-3256.

Thunderbird Weekly Schedule 2/24 to 2/27, 2025!
Hays/Lodgepole 5/6 elementary basketball practice starts Monday 2/24/25 at 4:00pm in Lodgepole. This is for both teams. They will depart Lodgepole at 5:35-5:40pm on activity bus. Their practices will be Monday-Thursday. Here is the schedule of games for the boys and girls Thunderbird elementary teams.
District 9C update:
Hays Lodgepole girls fall to Fort Benton 43 to 40.
Hays Lodgepole girls will play at 8:00am vs Box Elder.
District 9C update
The Hays Lodgepole boys lost to Big Sandy 45 to 28. In the 12:30pm game. The boys have ended their season.
Good job for all of your hard work boys. We appreciate your efforts in being a Thunderbird.

Hays Lodgepole boys will play Friday afternoon at 12:30pm vs Big Sandy.
Hays Lodgepole girls will play Fort Benton in the semi final game at 4:00pm.
